- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, and cilantro. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the cottage cheese mixture into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
