  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Do not separate the triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Brush the melted butter over the entire surface of the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Cut the dough sheet lengthwise into 8 equal strips.
  7. Take each strip and gently twist it 4 to 5 times.
  8. Place the twisted strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. While the twists cool slightly, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon twists.
