  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups cooked bowtie pasta
  • 4 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, diced tomatoes and green chilies, tomato sauce, and water.

  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the Velveeta cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
