Adorable crab-shaped croissants perfect for a fun snack or party.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 small black olives, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll crescent roll dough. Separate into 8 triangles.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, parsley, garlic powder, dill weed, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush butter mixture onto each crescent roll triangle.
  4. Starting at the shortest side, roll up each triangle. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. To form the crab shape, gently bend the ends of each roll outwards to resemble claws.
  6. Brush each croissant with beaten egg.
  7. Place two olive slices on each croissant for eyes.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use other herbs like chives or cilantro.
  • Adjust seasoning to your preference.
