Description
Make safe, eggless cookie dough bites that require no baking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips by hand.
- Roll the dough into small, one-inch balls.
- Place the dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- To heat-treat the flour, spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, then cool completely before using.
- You can substitute white sugar for brown sugar for a lighter flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
