Description

Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili (no beans preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, if using, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chili to the skillet and heat through, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cook the hot dogs according to package directions (grill, boil, or pan-fry).
  5. Warm the hot dog buns.
