Simple Cherry Iced Tea

Description

A refreshing homemade iced tea flavored with cherry.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup cherry juice concentrate
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Remove the water from the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  4. Stir in the cherry juice concentrate and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.
  5. Pour the tea mixture into a pitcher. Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water.
  6. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of your cherry concentrate.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags for a longer period.
