Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 12 large eggs, scrambled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the bottom and top halves together.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Scramble the eggs in a non-stick skillet until cooked through.
  6. Spread the cooked and crumbled sausage evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  7. Top the sausage with the scrambled eggs.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the eggs.
  9. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  10. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  11. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops of the rolls are lightly golden.
  13. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
