Description
This cheesy pull-apart garlic bread is a crowd-pleasing appetizer, perfect for sharing. It features soft bread filled with a savory garlic-herb butter and gooey melted cheese.

- 1 loaf (13 oz) crusty bread (sourdough or Italian)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread crosswise and lengthwise, without cutting all the way through the bottom, to create a pull-apart grid.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture generously into all the cuts of the bread, making sure to get it between the slices.
- Stuff the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses into the cuts of the bread.
- Wrap the bread loosely in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the bread and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
- You can prepare this bread ahead of time and refrigerate it. Bring to room temperature before baking.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven at 300°F (150°C) until warm.
