This casserole combines ground beef, cabbage, and a creamy cheese sauce for a comforting and hearty meal.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion. Cook until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in cabbage and cook until slightly softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir soup mixture into the beef and cabbage. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Notes
- You can use different types of cheese like mozzarella or Colby Jack.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of spice.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
