- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice yellow squash into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- In a medium bowl, toss squash rounds with olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Arrange squash in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of onion powder or paprika.
- You can use other types of cheese like mozzarella or Gruyere.
