- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dill pickle slices, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Press the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Spread half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
- Spoon the ground beef mixture over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the chopped dill pickles over the beef mixture.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

- Serve with your favorite burger toppings like lettuce, tomato, or extra pickles.
