Ingredients

- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Combine milk, heavy cream, white chocolate chips, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium saucepan.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is hot, but not boiling. Do not let it boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
- Top each serving with whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.
Notes
- For a thicker drink, reduce the amount of milk slightly.
- You can substitute dairy milk with your preferred non-dairy alternative, like oat or almond milk.
