Simple recipe for baked broccoli and cheese balls.

- 1 cup cooked, finely chopped broccoli
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, bread crumbs, beaten egg, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
- For crispier balls, you can roll them in a little extra bread crumb before baking.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
