Ingredients

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  4. Fill taco shells with beef mixture.
  5. Top with cheese, onion, bell pepper, and salsa.
  6. Serve with sour cream and lettuce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili powder to the beef mixture.
