  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add cabbage, onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  5. Return beef to the skillet.
  6. Pour in beef broth, sugar, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing sauce to thicken slightly.
