A quick and easy beef and broccoli stir-fry recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add beef broth, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
- Return beef to the skillet. Stir in sesame oil and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute other cuts of beef like sirloin or skirt steak.
