Description

Simple recipe for grilling chicken breasts coated in BBQ sauce and ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the barbecue sauce and ranch seasoning mix in a small bowl. Mix well.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is coated. Reserve the remaining sauce.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Brush the chicken lightly with olive oil.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken with the reserved sauce mixture.
  8. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts if desired; adjust cooking time as needed.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little extra dry ranch seasoning on the chicken before grilling.
