Simple recipe for grilling chicken breasts coated in BBQ sauce and ranch seasoning.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the barbecue sauce and ranch seasoning mix in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is coated. Reserve the remaining sauce.
- Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Brush the chicken lightly with olive oil.
- Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken with the reserved sauce mixture.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts if desired; adjust cooking time as needed.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little extra dry ranch seasoning on the chicken before grilling.
