Description

A straightforward recipe for making flavorful meatballs in the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or a mix of beef and pork for the ground beef.
  • For easier cleanup, line the baking sheet with parchment paper before greasing.
