- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a few apple slices on the wide end of each triangle.
- Sprinkle apple slices with a mix of sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up the dough around the apples, starting from the wide end.
- Place the dumplings seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Pour melted butter over the dumplings.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of nutmeg to the sugar and cinnamon mixture for extra flavor.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
